Seeing that brings back an acute case of seller's remorse for having sold my Rudy-built '23 Ford model T roadster pickup a few years ago. My most recent case of seller's remorse came from selling the '66 Riviera that served as the conveyance for many Iowahawk adventures, including last year's Chicago election gonzo tripping with Tim Blair. But all's well that ends well - these photos from new owner Anthony W. in Louisville KY show that the Riv is finally getting the top notch old school lowrider treatment I had always intended for it. First up, the Riv in its interim mild custom guise, with a set of little diameter Cragars on pinner white walls...
... now, shots of what's to come (click to embiggen): early 70s Tru-Spokes, chomed hydraulic pumps and switches in the trunk, shaved doors, emblems, wipers. Surface is scuffed in preparation for new paint, two-tone panels of gold on pagan gold.
