THE MIGHTY MAGNETIC DUMB-VEE
Fridge magnet fever, baby! Our old pal Doc Lee has sent new pics of his unit chillin' with the wildest whip in Baghdad, thanks to Dumb Legionnaires like you. I especially like the exquisite surreality of the 'Curves for Women' thing.
Doc reports rave reviews from local car enthusiasts like Zia.
Doc also reports that he has a new mailing address. So if you want to be a part of the weirdness get your stupidest refridgerator magnet to:

If you're a blogger, please help out by spreading the word of this program; as a token of appreciation I''ll add you to my blogroll (like participating blog The Blorg) - or drop you from my blogroll, whatever you prefer. And keep your eyes peeled: in the very early planning stages right now, but I am working on a very cool tie-in to Operation Mag-Neato.
HAWKEYE HOOSEGOW HONEY OF THE WEEK
Sorry folks, I won't be posting new jailbirds until the polls close for Hoosegow Honey of the Year vote on July 7. And whoa nelly, what an old fashioned Iowa barnburner this race is shaping up to be! Over a thousand of you have punched your chads so far, but the outcome is still in doubt. In early early voting the two phonetic Jessicas jumped into a two-gal lead peleton, with Tammi and April battling it out for third. Since then, Jesika-with-a-K has poured it on for a clear lead, but now Tammi is coming on strong and is on pace to overtake Jessica for second. But wait - let's not forget the bail bond bonus points (quick correction - one bonus point is awarded for every $1000 in bail bond, not $100 as previously stated). Factoring in the bonus the current leader is... Erica! thanks to 270 bonus points from her impressive list of charged crimes.
So if you haven't yet done it, be sure to excercise your right as a non-felon citizen and vote for the orange clad woman of your dreams. Democracy is beautiful!

PRICELESS TREASURES FROM THE IOWAHAWK MUSEUM
Today's selection comes from our sculpture wing: a mesmerizing $1 rummage sale acquisition I have titled "Psycho Banjo Bunny-o." And yes, as a matter of fact, it does have evil powers.
CO-HEAPS OF THE WEEK
Two hot hoopties submitted for your approval. First, Iowahawk reader Peter Schiavo sends a shot of his badass Roadrunner on Virginia's I-81, tickling 115 mph during the Hot Rod magazine Power Tour. Next to it, Seattle area reader Todd Roth shows his friend Jim taking delivery of his new SUV, which Todd notes features "... low mileage, many options, AWD, no door dings, diesel powered for economy." Praise Gaia!
COUPE OF JUSTICE
Okay, so I haven't been posted many pictures of the Coupe lately. But trust me, it's coming along. If you've been good, I'll leave you with a couple of teasers.
Make no mistake. Justice will be swift.
