Odds 'n' Ends
Item 1: Huzzah! Our old buddy and Ozark "hair tonic" supplier Doc Lee is back blogging again at Blatheration. Longtime readers may remember Doc from his stint in Iraq, as Supreme Commander of Operation Dumbvee / Operation Mag-Neato -our attempt to boost his Army unit's morale by inexplicably covering a Humvee with thousands of refrigerator magnets. Drop by Doc's place and tell 'em hi from me.
Item 2: Speaking of military morale boosters, nobody does it better than our curvy San Diego galpal Gina Elise at Pinups For Vets. PFV's 2009 calendar is now out, featuring a monthly dozen tastefully provocative 40's-style photos of Gina in various work safe states of undress. Easy on the eyes, and for a good cause: last year Gina's calendar raised over $15,000 for the Wounded Warriors rehabilitation program. Drop by and pick up a copy, you patriotic wolf!
Item 3: Iowahawk T-shirts and mugs. Be patient, they're on the way!
Item 4: Nicolas Boiteux at Wikio writes:
Thanks Nicky! Below is the exclusive. I'm not sure what it really means, but I guess I have an outside shot of a BCS Bowl.
