It snowed here in the desert. It's gorgeous, especially all of those alien-looking Joshua Trees flocked with white powder, but after a particularly freezing Monday driving around, taking in the cool beauty of the mountains and the cozy little snow capped cabins, and then lingering far too long on sad/strangely impressive Christmas decorations adorning western themed real estate offices and tiny medical centers, I wanted to stay inside. Now that today, Joshua Tree is entirely covered with the white stuff, I'm definitely not leaving.

Driving the frigid Z through the muck or doing cookies at the Park and Ride wasn't as appealing (or possible -- I can't get down the hill) -- as imbibing, watching cable (Investigation Discovery -- waiting for Dr. Stone to tell me who is "Most Evil," according to his scale) and sleeping on the floor.

By the way, I'm currently snowed in and without any food save for a box of white rice (I wasn't expecting this much snow). Any desert denizens with a bitchin' all terrain vehicle want to take me to the market? I'm starving. But no matter how hungry I get, I wish I could stay here forever. Forget Los Angeles. But again, food...?

Pictures of the snow will be coming, if I can make it outside to snap some decent shots. As for now, look at more snowblind friend carpet, curtains and fireplace pics here.
Nice! Those look like stills from some lost 70s noir movie, "Mojave Point" or something.
I'd FedEx you some ramen, but Chicago is snowed under too. But it looks like you at least have some booze and cable TV until spring thaw. Don't go Donner Party on us!

I would just like to say, in complete gentlemanly respect, that is totally hot.

The carpet looks outrageous. I love the color because it adds drama to the entire floor plus it suits the color of the curtain. This is very interesting because it speaks of the personality of the owner. Keep it up and more power. You really have a great taste.

I was impressed by the looks of the carpet. The carpet looks tough and durable. I think it cost too much to clean that up. Carpet cleaner are anywhere else to be found, but there is a much better way in cleaning the carpet.

It is always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to children and pets. Ask about the different types of disinfecting and deodorizing methods. Shampoo methods usually require more dry time to achieve the desired results, and could interfere with returning your pets to their usual routine.

I must say that she really did get a best shots. I know that it would feel a lot of warm if snow comes because of the fireplace. Well, sometimes I find it hard to clean the fireplace.

Carpets in Turkey are work of art. They are masterpieces of weavers that are indeed very skilled. I have to say that visiting Turkey means not able to have a souvenir like this rare pieces. Making rugs or carpets are work of a genius in Turkey. They are well known of their craftsmanship. Well, I do hope that the trip was worth a visit. Thanks a lot for the feature.

There are carpets that were made perfectly. These must be cleaned with the use of vacuum cleaners or whatsoever depending on our preference. I am using upright vacuum to clean my carpet rather than spending so much time in washing it. I just want to quote Michael's comment, "Making rugs or carpets are work of a genius in Turkey." You have actually hit the head of the nail! Carpets made in Turkey are made of great quality.

The model on the picture is not that appealing to the readers. She is groggy in a way that nobody would believe what she is selling.

pesticide per acre as farmers do. Phosphorous-rich runoff from lawn fertilizer feeds ugly carpets of algae that suffocate waterways. Minnesota got so bummed by all the phosphorous draining
